I'm not sure which part of this sign is funnier, the part where the NO SPITTING picture looks like NO PUKING or the part where they couldn't spell the words strictly and guilty. And yes, this is a real sign here.
I know, it is funny. A certain funny guy in my house blew that part up and made his own "NO PUKING" sign for our master bathroom. He was trying to make me laugh when I wasn't feeling well earlier this week.

I love the picture. Funny post, as I also love the Engrish Funny things I see around here. Looking forward to reading more about your story, and seeing what's similar to my own...of course Abu Dhabi is a bit different than Ramallah but still... we have a lot of similar circumstances I bet.
